Ouzeria
This was number one ranked on my want-to-hit- list, and very reasonably so. I’m more than glad I made my way to dine at Ouzeria, even though I pass it on a daily basis to get to my humble abode. This is by definition a hidden gem, more casual of a spot than the menu suggests and tucked away in the smaller streets of Florentin but in the best of ways. Chef Avivit Priel Avichai knows what she’s doing.
If my stomach was a true bottomless pit, I would’ve and could’ve ordered every single dish they offer. The beetroot ravioli was the star of the show to me regardless of any evident bias due to my current fixation with said root vegetable. I’d recommend this establishment to locals and tourist alike but I don’t want everybody knowing all my good secret spots, wink wink. A memorable culinary experience such as this ensures that I will be returning frequently. Until I try every dish and then some, probably.
