Tometomato

Hidden in the nooks and crannies of the beloved Florentin neighborhood, Tometomato can be found. Even though there is no sign on the outside indicating you’ve reached your destination, you’ll know you have done so through the sensational smells of the homemade delicacies. The wine bar that is directly nextdoor is owned by the same owner; what a convenience!

I had the pleasure of tasting two of their homemade pastas; a lamb bolognese pappardelle and a spicy calamari spaghetti. As a proud member of the Clean Plate Club I greatly appreciated how the dishes are accompanied with fresh focaccia that can be used to, quite literally, lick the plate clean.
