Bar Maimón

Still in their soft opening era but I had to give Bar Maimón a visit. By sheer luck, I randomly stumbled upon the quaint southern Spanish decor when strolling out of Shuk HaCarmel one afternoon and made a mental note to return.

If Tel Aviv and Córdoba had a baby, it would be Bar Maimón. With fresh ingredients from the neighboring market, each light dish will be divine (and reasonably priced). There were too many good options to choose from, so I narrowed it down to only three appetizers; the zucchini on a bed of mint tzatziki topped with pine nuts, a crisp salad with crunchy pear, and grilled asparagus doused in parmesan. Oh, and one goat cheese with handmade pesto pizza. I couldn’t resist.
