Fish Stand
I finally got around to trying the famous fisherman’s sandwich that is home to Shuk HaCarmel. And now I wholeheartedly understand why it is so eminent.
Although the present menu does in fact involve other dishes, this is the only one necessary. The grilled seasoned seabass is perfectly accompanied with vegetables, lemon dressing and the iconic homemade chimichuri sauce (that I of course ask for an additional side of). It may sounds simple, but the relish is anything but. All of the ingredients complement each other in a flawless manner, exemplifying what makes the food of Shuk HaCarmel so special.
